July 21, 2013 10 am to 2 pm at Charles River Canoe & Kayak



Rally friends & family to paddle, walk, or donate to your paddling efforts. You'll get your own personal Headquarters Page for fundraising (see HQ). You can have fun & customize your HQ (To Do List).



Row your boat gently down the stream or race your friends. There is nothing better than a mid-summer day. For those who donít like to be on the water or who are unable to paddle, there's a lovely walking path along the river to the picnic area. So, no reason to miss out on the picnic and concert.



Canít come? Live out of town? No problem! You can still participate as a Virtual Participant. You can still create a personal page (HQ) where you can ask friends to donate to your fundraising goal!

Rent a kayak or canoe on site (20% discount) or bring your own! Youíll receive a souvenir tee and a yummy picnic lunch with live music! There are also games on the river and at the picnic with prizes galore.



Also, your fundraising efforts can enter you into the following RAFFLES:
  • - Raise $1,000 or more & you could win a kayak!
  • - Raise $500 or more and you could win 2 great Red Sox tickets
  • - Raise $300 or more and you could win running shoes
  • - Raise $150 or more and you could win dining certificates



If you like, dress up in your wildest garb! Maybe you'll win a prize. See you there. RAIN OR SHINE!

10am Registration/Boat Rental on site

10:00am-12:00pm Boating on the Charles en route to picnic area

12:00pm-1:00pm Picnic (we provide lunch) with concert and lung cancer awareness talk

1:00pm-2:00pm Paddle back to Boat House
